What is the Patient Participation Group (PPG)?
The PPG are a group of volunteers working with the Practice to improve the services to patients, and to provide the patients perspective. Along with members of the Practice staff, including one GP, a Senior Receptionist and a Receptionist.
The aim is to help patients to get the best service from their Practice and just as importantly, for the Practice to respond to patients ideas and needs.
The PPG is NOT a channel for complaints. There is a system in place for dealing with any complaints that you may have.
PPG will hold meetings to discuss all your opinions every 3 months, this will be held in the Practice’s meeting room. They will also take place in surgery hours.
We appreciate some people will find attending these meetings very difficult, but don’t worry as you can still have your say by e-mailing us.
Details of the meetings dates/times will be displayed in surgery, the Practice website and also sent via email/post.
The Practice will provide the agenda and also the minutes of the meetings through the surgery website, email/post.
We would appreciate any feedback you would like to give us, so that we can discuss this at the next meeting.
